On the evening of June 8, the matches in the final round of the 2008 Robocon creative competition have ended. As a result, FEE 02- Hanoi Industrial University won the first prize, representing Vietnam to attend the Asia-Pacific international Robocon held in Pune, India in August / 2008.
At the final competition, 7 matches with 8 teams reached the quarterfinals were very unexpected with the impressive opening match between FA S01- Bach Khoa University's Military Technical and Marble Academy Da Nang Faculty.
Next were the matches between Ho Chi Minh City's Technical Teachers University (CKD ARESS) and Hanoi Polytechnic University (BK FET); Danang Polytechnic University (E-HT7) and Industrial Technical College II (CD9-CN II); Hanoi University of Industry (FEE 02) and College of Transportation 3 (FORT).
At the end of the eighth round, four teams including Ngu Hanh Son (17 points), BK FET (25 points), CD9-CN II (30 points) and FEE 02 (27 points) won the right to continue to the semi-finals.
Within the framework of the semi-final matches that took place between the two teams of Ngu Hanh Son and BK FET, once again the fans present at the 7 th Military Competition house witnessed the quite spectacular technological performances of both teams.
FEE 02 crab robots are being prepared before the competition
As soon as the match started, the Automatic Robot and Manual Robot of Ngu Hanh Son quickly joined together to get the gold butter to win against BK FEET with the score 23-18.
Although there was a problem during the warm-up process, however, with a stable gameplay, both automatic and manual robots have a good structure, FEE 02 has continuously made fans surprised by clever tactics, flexible, stable playing spirit. In particular, the operator of the manual robot with the skill and experience has brought victory for FEE 02 in the semi-final match 2 before CD9-CNII with a quite good score of 27-21.
As expected, with two wins of 'Govinda' in the previous rounds, FEE 02 is considered the brightest candidate to take the top spot when entering the final round of Bach Khoa's Marble Mountains. Da Nang Faculty.
Once again FEE 02 and Ngu Hanh Son are 'charming' to be able to "meet" each other in the semi-finals. At the Robocon creative contest in 2007, both FEE 02 and Ngu Hanh Son teams had a chance to compete in the top position and victory was belonged to Ngu Hanh Son- Danang Polytechnic University. However, luck did not come to Ngu Hanh Son at this year's Robocon creative competition.
Despite excellent performance, with manual robots, moving very fast and flexible throughout the stage due to the integration of many technologies, the Marble Mountains had to succumb to FEE 02.
With quite a special battle strategy, FEE 02 successfully prevented the Manual Robot of Ngu Hanh Son from connecting to the Automatic Robot. As a result, FEE 02- Hanoi Industrial University won with 24 points, becoming the champion team representing Vietnam to attend the 2008 Asia-Pacific International Robocon Contest in India.
