A new variant of the Sober virus is known as Win32/Sober.Z@mm running on servers of Hotmail and MSN through the loading of incredible emails in bulk, delaying sending. and receive emails from customers using Hotmail and MSN.
Security experts said some Comcast customers, when sending emails to accounts of Hotmail and MSN, received an error message stating that their mail was not received. However, Microsoft said, all their emails, only a few were delayed, the rest were successfully sent.
A spokesman for Microsoft said the problem was discovered early last week, but no unit has yet to plan to fix this problem.
Sober virus first appeared in 2003 and can attack computers running Windows and force them to send spam again. Such continuous sending may result in servers being overloaded and reducing the network's processing speed. Last month, a variant of Sober was discovered when distributed via email attachments of old photos of your school.
