The first round of the contest 'Ready with new knowledge' was officially launched at Hanoi National University on November 17 and attracted the attention and enthusiastic cheering of hundreds of students .

The first 6 students are students from 6 leading IT-training universities across the country such as University of Technology (Hanoi National University), Hanoi University of Technology, and University. The competition is organized with the aim of adding and updating knowledge in the use of computers and office software, especially two new versions of Microsoft Office 2007 and Window Vista 2007, promising a complementary playground. useful for young people to contact, learn and apply their creative abilities in dealing with information related to informatics.The world's leading IT company Microsoft is the main sponsor and technical consultant for this competition.Intel company, ASUS computer company, Information Services and Technology Development Company Limited (CFTD IS), the Institute of Information Technology (HanoiCTT) are co-sponsors of the program.

In the contest that kicked off yesterday, the contestants went through 3 rounds of competitions: answering multiple choice questions, doing case studies and product demonstrations. Student Dinh Ngoc Thang (University of Technology, Hanoi National University) became the winner of the Launch Round with the reward of an ASUS high-end PC (worth USD 2,500) and a Microsoft scholarship Certified System Administrator (MCSA), also won tickets to the final round is scheduled to be held in mid-April next year.
