Strange illness caused the girl to bend over her neck
Afhseen Qumbar, 9, who lives in Mithi in Sindh province, south of Pakistan, suffers from a rare form of muscle disorder that causes her head to bend to the side.
A 9-year-old girl in Pakistan is experiencing strenuous childhood years and is stigmatized as "a cursed person", with her neck bent sideways to one side.
Afhseen Qumbar , 9, who lives in Mithi in Sindh province, south of Pakistan, suffers from a rare form of muscle disorder that causes her head to bend to the side.
Afhseen could not stand up, walk normally and often have to sit in one place. The disease caused her many difficulties in life and activities. I cannot eat by myself and need help in most of my daily needs.
The sad thing is that she is discriminated and isolated by the people around her. Children are always afraid when they see Afhseen, while many adults assume that she is cursed.
Afhseen is not allowed to go to school, playing like his peers and her only 'friends' are six siblings in the family.
Afhseen's parents, Allah Jurio, 55, and Ms. Jameelan, 50, said they took her to see a local doctor but no one could determine the exact cause and treatment.
Due to the difficult economic situation of his family, Afhseen did not have access to intensive medical services in major hospitals.

Mrs. Jameelan said: ' It is painful to witness Afhseen's condition. No doctor here can accurately diagnose her condition. They advised us to take Afhseen to the hospital in Karachi for examination and treatment. But we have no money and cannot afford the cost of treatment in a large hospital. '
Sharing about her daughter's condition, Ms. Jameelan said Afhseen was born completely normal like the other six siblings, but her life has changed since she was eight months old.
She said: 'When he was eight months old, Afhseen fell to the ground while playing in the yard and suffered a neck injury. We have ignored her situation partly due to subjectivity and partly because of the difficult economic situation. '
Instead of taking her to the hospital, they took her to the home of a local monk for treatment but no results.
When Afhseen grew up, her condition gradually became complicated. His head was folded to the side and often suffered from pain.
'I can't do anything myself and always need help. She just sits alone in a corner and sometimes plays with her brothers and sisters, " said Ms. Jameelan.
Afhseen's parents were farmers and had no stable income. Currently, the main source of income for the whole family depends on the meager salary of the eldest son Mohmad Yaqoob, 25, who is working at a store with a salary of about 250 USD / month (about 6 million VND) ).
Dr Dilip Kumar, owner of a private clinic in Mithi, said Afhseen's case was very rare. He argued that Afhseen may have had a rare form of muscular disorder or deformity in the spine and needed a thorough examination to determine the exact cause.
Currently, Afhseen's parents are asking for help from the Pakistani government.
Jurio said: 'If it is helped by the government, Afhseen will have the opportunity to live a normal life. We can take care of her as a child, but what happens when she grows up? I wish to see Afhseen recover from illness, go to school and play with other children. I hope that our wish will come true in the near future. '
