One of the important upgrades of Java 6 Beta 2 is the addition of frameworks that support popular scripting languages such as PHP.
Java SE 6, formerly codenamed "Mustang", has been fully complemented by existing Web client services, along with supporting recent Web service specifications such as JAX-WS 2.0 and JAXB 2.0. In addition, Java SE 6 will also support Microsoft's upcoming operating system version - Windows Vista.
The complete version of Java SE 6 (final) is expected to be completed this fall. Users can download a trial version of Java SE 6 at Sun's Developer Network website.
