Vietnam won the third prize of ASEAN photo contest on biodiversity in 2015 with its name
Vietnam won the third prize of ASEAN Photo Contest on Biodiversity 2015 with the work called "Mother and Child" by contestant Ho Van Dien.
Vietnam won the third ASEAN photo contest
Award ceremony of the ASEAN Photo Contest on Biodiversity took place on October 2 in the city of Los Banos, Philippines. The event was attended by ASEAN Deputy Secretary General AKP Mochtan, Executive Director of ASEAN Center for Biodiversity Roberto V. Oliva and diplomatic representatives of ASEAN countries in the Philippines.

The first prize belongs to the contestant Hans Tangmanpoowadol, Thailand, with a "Solidarity" photo . The second prize was awarded to "Fisherman in Lake Inle" by contestant Kyaw Kyaw Winn, Myanmar. The Vietnamese delegation received the third prize with the photo "Mother and child" of contestant Ho Van Dien . The representative of the Vietnamese Embassy in the Philippines attended the award ceremony and received the award on behalf of the candidates.
ASEAN Photo Contest on Biodiversity receives more than 1,100 projections after more than 8 months of organization from all 10 member countries. Grading criteria include topics, layout, creativity and technology.
ASEAN Photo Contest on Biodiversity 2015 is one of many cooperative activities among member countries to protect the living environment of the region. The competition also aims at beauty and biodiversity values through unique and vivid moments of living species, reflecting the importance of biodiversity to human life.
