Today (August 19), Vietnam Robocon team will set out for Tokyo to attend the Asia-Pacific Robocon Contest in 2009 scheduled to take place on August 22.

That is, SPK-KNIGHT won the 2009 robocon championship with a 30-second achievement. After more than a month of preparation and practice, the team has achieved the target of speed, combat tactics as well as the stability of the robot. In particular, the speed has been shortened to only 20 seconds.

Reportedly, one of Vietnam's rivals, the robocon team of Ha Binh School, China has won the Robocon region three times and currently has the same performance as Vietnam.

At the military export ceremony of Vietnam Robocon team held in the afternoon of August 17, the members of the team said that they will try their best to play well, determined to beat the "triumphant drum drum" (theme of the year contest now on).

Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee has supported the team with VND 150 million to contribute to the cost of the trip "to beat the land of people ". This time, Vietnam delegation has 10 people, including instructors, teachers and five students of SPK-Knight team.
