Yahoo integrates Messenger into Yahoo Mail

Yahoo Messenger instant messaging application will be integrated into the new Yahoo Mail version.

This information was confirmed by Brad Garlinghouse, a leader of the world's second largest Internet search provider.

At the recent Web 2.0 conference, Garlinghouse and colleagues demonstrated the Yahoo Messenger integrated version of Yahoo Mail. Now every Yahoo email address has an icon indicating whether the person is online or offline. Users can click on the icon to 'chat' with the target audience.

Thus, with the new version of Yahoo Mail, users can simultaneously use two famous Yahoo applications in the same browser window. This means that users will no longer need to download Yahoo Messenger software.

Another goal that Yahoo wants to achieve through integrating the two services into a desire to simplify the use of its two most popular application services, especially the Yahoo Messenger installation sometimes remains. making it difficult for some users who do not have much technical knowledge.

Google recently announced the incorporation of a Google Talk instant messaging application with Gmail. Yahoo's new move could be considered an answer for Google.

Statistics show that currently the number of Yahoo Mail users has continuously reached 250 million, nearly 10 times the number of Gmail users.

It is expected that Yahoo Mail with Yahoo Messenger integration will be available for users next month. Yahoo is also considering integrating the calling service on existing Yahoo Messenger versions into Yahoo Mail.
