In addition to the time spent watching TV, researchers also investigated the relationship between the amount of time spent working with computers or driving with the risk of premature death. However, scientists have yet to find any connections.

With this conclusion, scientists recommend that adults should increase physical activity, avoid sitting too long and keep watching TV for up to one to two hours.

As recommended by the American Heart Association, the average person should spend two hours a week practicing gentle exercises.
