Security firm Secunia warned the code to exploit an extremely dangerous security bug in the latest version of Adobe Photoshop that has been released to the Internet. If you successfully exploit this error, the hacker will gain full control of the system that caused the error.

Secunia's content of a security alert issued on April 25 confirmed that the security error exists in two versions of Adobe Photoshop Creative Suite 3 and Creative Suite 2.

This error arises in the way Adobe Photoshop handles malicious bitmap files such as ".bmp, .dib and .rle". Buffer overflow will occur when the application processes such a file that allows hackers to "kidnap" their PC system.

Recently a security researcher has publicly released code to exploit Photoshop errors to prove his findings. The good news for users is that until now Secunia has not detected any action to use that exploit code for the wrong purpose.

" There has never been an attack by taking advantage of the newly released exploit code. Photoshop is an application primarily used in advertising agencies or photo editors. That's why if that happens. Its attack range is very limited , "said Thomas Kristensen, Secunia's chief technology officer.

While waiting for Adobe's patch, Secunia recommends that users should not open the bitmap files sent from unknown sources.

Adobe said it has received information about the security bug and is conducting a specific investigation.
