The 8-year-old girl was bitten into the hands by a spider from the ceiling of the bathroom, leaving a small hole in the back of her hand. The bite quickly became so necrotic that she had to be operated immediately.

According to the Daily Mail, Haley Kinnaird, the mother of Abbie Kinnaird (8 years old in Colchester, Essex, England) said the original bite was just a red spot before it was painful and swollen and turned black. She took her to a nearby medical center the next day and Abbie was given antibiotics.

A week later, the bite did not improve. Abbie's arms were swollen, red and rash. Finally Mrs. Kinnaird had to rush her to the hospital, where doctors had to give her antibiotics quickly. Mrs. Kinnaird said: "We were informed that Abbie had to have a skin transplant, and two hours later she was taken to the operating room. They had to remove all the black necrotic flesh and put the skin flat again." .

Abbie Kinnaird and the wound in her hand were bitten by the brown spider.

Abbie was given antibiotics three times a day for four days to stay in the hospital to fight infections from those open wounds.

Since leaving the hospital, Abbie has had three hospital checks, along with her mother cleaning the wound and changing the bandage every day.

Hayley Kinnaird said Abbie was terrified to return to the apartment. She asked the pest control experts to come home to spray spider-killing drugs because she later discovered two other spiders in her bed. Spiders thought to be hiding in toys and family clothes are venomous brown spiders. Their bite can lead to necrosis and potentially death.

Pest control experts advise her family not to return home immediately because there is a risk of some spiders still hiding and not yet exposed to pesticides. They said that when they were preparing to spray, they saw only a few spiders, but when it was sprayed, there were many more, including brown spiders and female spiders.
