Gigabyte has just launched the first PDA Phone to support TV services operating on the Microsoft Windows Mobile 5.0 operating system in Taiwan.

Aiming at users who are entrepreneurs, aiming to provide an optimized PDA with superior solutions for managing PIM (Personal Information Management) personal information.

Integrated MS Office software suite helps users manage email and documents even when they are not in their office. Besides the basic features of a PDA device, g-Smart is equipped with a 2.4-inch, 262,000-color touch screen TFT LCD with 240x320 pixel resolution. Wi-Fi wireless technology, Bluetooth, GPS, English - Chinese dictionary, media player supports TV / FM / MP3 / MPEG4 formats as well as 2.1 megapixel camera, video capture and one Free Mini SD Card 256MB memory card included. Equipped with PaPaGo G10, g-Smart will guide users with Taiwan 3D maps and voice navigation system when traveling.

Gigabyte g-Smart allows voice commands as well as hotkeys to operate. The official release date has not been disclosed, but Gigabyte g-Smart is expected to be the preferred PDA in 2006.
