Google was investigated for conquering video

Italian court prosecutors over the weekend said they are investigating two alleged Google Italy representatives who have "snapped" a video with bad content on Google Video.

The video shows scenes of four students attacking a disabled classmate in their classroom. This event takes place in the northern Italian city of Turin. Immediately after appearing on Google Italy this video has caused a great grievance in society.

The two Google Italy representatives were accused of not checking the content but allowed the video to appear on the Google Video page.

Besides, prosecutors also investigated four students who appeared in the video and a suspected teacher was also involved.

Google spokesperson Rachel Whetstone apologized for the unfortunate incident and confirmed that Google had quickly taken necessary action after receiving the notice about the video.

" The video above appeared on Google Video about two weeks ago and we quickly removed it ," Whetstone said. " We are currently working closely with the Italian police to investigate the case clearly ."

In Europe, the world's leading search service provider is currently faced with more and more legal challenges posed by its users. The main reason is that the legal protection agencies in this area have continuously investigated and clarified the cases of false information allowed to appear on the Internet.

Google policy prohibits the uploading of videos with violent content. But with the number of thousands of videos posted online every day, Google is hard to control. Everything is put into the user's consciousness, Mr. Whetstone stressed.
