Pretec has revealed a new USB i-Dish drive that allows users to combine biological security and storage. i-Dish has a storage capacity of up to 4GB and is considered a USB thumbprint with the largest storage capacity.

Biological security system allows installation to access up to ten users. In addition, it can extend the protection between access devices and personal data files that can be encrypted with access to the fingerprint.

i-Disk uses new finger-print scanning technology and a single chip solution to reduce costs, increase storage capacity and reduce bio-scanning fingerprint sizes on devices.

In addition to security by fingerprint identification, the device also integrates password protection. It can also be used to block computer use rights or to prevent users from accessing selected sites and software. Pretec has yet to disclose any information about prices and time to market.
