Release two precious turtles to the nature reserve

In the morning of 12/12, TT-Hue Forest Protection Department in coordination with Sao La TT-Hue Conservation Area (A Luoi district) organized 2 precious turtles to be released to the forest of Sao La Nature Reserve.

Among the forest animals that were released by TT-Hue Forest Protection Department in collaboration with Sao La Conservation Area this time, there were 2 individuals of Central yellow box turtle, Cuora bourreti scientific name.

This is one of the species listed in the Vietnam Red Book and the world's most endangered Red Book. This turtle is endemic in central Vietnam, the main habitat is evergreen forest; The world is unique in Vietnam. These are turtles discovered by and captured by Hue city forest rangers in Thuong Bac park area, No. 45 Tran Hung Dao, Hue City.
