That hard drive line Savvio is expected to run more stable, consume less power (40%) while only accounting for 1/3 of the storage RAID space. Saviio is also rated superior by Seagate over the 3.5-inch "Cheetahs" drive also produced by this company.
With 36GB and 73GB capacities, the company's 2.5-inch 15,000-rpm hard drive version is rated as the fastest speed today. Meanwhile Seagate 10,200 hard drive version has 146GB storage capacity.
Testing showed that the version of Savvio (10,200 rpm) could achieve a maximum data transfer rate of 89Mbps, and an average speed of 70Mbps.
