Skype has launched a version of Skype 2.0 beta with many attractive features compared to the previous version, which is familiar to computer users.

Skype continues to make a big impression, especially its ability to support compelling video conversations, improve its interface and continue to improve its free Skype-to-Skype calling service.

Easy to use

Using Skype is the best way to test the quality of video calling without having to make a big investment because the service is free. In terms of hardware, you need a broadband connection, a good quality webcam, headphones and a microphone. In terms of software, to use the service requires a minimum of Windows 2000 / XP operating system, in order to add video conversation functionality, it is required to use Windows XP OS Next, users need to download and install Skype 2.0 beta to the PC and register an account (User Account) with Skype if not already available.

Many new features

With the presence of find-me / follow-me function, users can contact from anywhere, support ringing on all phones such as mobile phones, home phones or at the same time. This is a major improvement in this new version. Users can also import partners from a list of addresses in Microsoft Outlook and create a list of unused Skype users by regular phone lines with just one click.

One of Skype's new directions is that users are able to set up and embed links to recover Skype calls directly from their blogs or Web sites. This feature is expanded thanks to a collaboration with web design company Six Apart.

With paid services, Skype adds more flexible features, including: SkypeOut, SkypeIn, Skype Voice Mail and Skype Groups. SkypeOut allows users to call directly from PC to landline and mobile phones (usually about 1 cent / minute, overseas can be more expensive). SkypeIn is the opposite, allowing users to receive calls from many different phones at an acceptable price. Skype Voice Mail is a free service package that comes with SkypeIn, allowing users to leave a message for up to 10 minutes. Finally, Skype Groups makes it possible for small offices to use Skype as a secondary telecommunications system. This service allows system administrators to manage voice services for many users.

However, because the video quality of Skype is only about 15 frames per second, the image will not be smooth, there is no real "feeling". But being able to talk and meet the "loved one" but it is free is too great.
