Vietnam hosted ABU Robocon 2007
For the first time, the Asia-Pacific Robot Innovation Competition will be held in Vietnam, specifically Hanoi, from 24 to 29 August 2007. To win participation, there are 353 teams of robocon of Vietnam register for the domestic exam round.

Two Vietnamese teams participating in ABU Robocon will be selected from the Vietnam Robots Innovation Contest (Robocon Vietnam), which will take place from April 15 to June 3, 2007 in Hanoi. This contest is organized by Vietnam Television, sponsored by Toyota Vietnam and sponsored by FPT Technology.
The teams after the qualifying round will enter the qualifiers in the North, Central and South regions, to select 32 teams to reach the final. According to the organizers, there are currently 353 teams registered to participate.
