Microsoft launched beta of VoIP server

Pall said Microsoft software is compatible with many types of hardware that businesses may be using, such as gateways, phones, and other servers.

Microsoft has tightly integrated the server with the Office 2007, Active Directory product suite. In Office Communications Server and Office Communicator 2007, IM (instant-messaging) and video conferencing functions are also available.
